Any car registered between April 2001 and 23rd March 06 and has CO2 > 225 will fit into Band K. Currently its £215 this year around £30 more next year

Hang on. According to HJ's FAQ, our Smart Roadster is in Band D this year, at 121g CO2.
Therefore £90.
We taxed it last week and they charged us £120 at the Post Office.
What's that all about?

worth noting that only drivers these days call it Road Tax - as the many millions of know to our cost, this part of our heard earned never goes on repairing our roads (and don't it show!), so Whitehall shifted the emphasis to rename it VED .. yet more spin.
