engine light wont go off. Car still starts. Windsreen wipers very slow. Please help with advice. Do i go to auto electrician or my normal garage . Cheers.

he should be able to read the codes via the ecu led if its the same as an early micra
are you sure its not a bad earth connection or maybe the two faults are unconnected?

sounds like the alternator has given up.
