I'm looking for help on how to change out the Drivers Side LED Type Repeater situated on the DS Mirror.

Tilt the mirror glass down as far as it will go with the interior switch.
Get a flat blade behind the glass (there is a special VW tool of course) & carefully leever it off. Disconnect the wires to the heating element.
Leever off the black plastic surround & the painted surround, a press fit.
Remove the mirror tilting mechanism, 3 screws.
You will see 2 screws in line with the clear plastic indicator lense inside the mirror casing.
Remove these & prise out the indicator repeater lense, disconnect the plug.
A new one from VW is just over £18.
