Hi

Got a '99 Fiesta 1.25 Zetec manual 89k on the clock

Having issues with power/acceleration. Seems to take ages to build up any momentum and struggles to get over 70mph. Have to drive with foot on the floor to get speed up and it's drinking an outrageous amount of fuel.

When at around 70mph on flat road revs are at approx 3.5k but engine sounds like it's revving much higher. Driving up hill is awful, takes forever to get anywhere

New coil pack about 18 months ago but hasn't had a service since December '06. Done approx 17,000 miles since last service.

I've Googled the symptoms and some forums say it might be the air flow meter or maybe clutch? or maybe it just needs a good full service?

Any suggestions appreciated.
