How do,

my rear subframe bushes have gone for sure, really loud knock over over camber bumps, first time i heard it i thought one wheel had come off?? that sound right?

anyway, i was just going to get them off ebay the power flex ones, but i don't know for sure that the subframe is ok, it should be? 51reg 30k

and will any garage be able to do this properly! as i don't want a botch up

I fitted Powerflex bushes to my 2002 Mondeo last Christmas, I basically followed the instructions on the attached link, took perhaps 7 hours of which a large part was getting one of the old bushes out. I had the rear alignment checked and adjusted afterwards, total cost inc parts £110. Worthwhile saving over a new subframe. Has been fine since. Mine had done 100k miles and was no where near as rusty as the pics in the link posted by AndyT, also it only had a slight occasional clonk, certainly did not like the wheel had fallen off, have you counted them? ;-). 30k sounds early though I guess it is simply a time rather than mileage matter.

PS: I ordered the bushes from Demon Tweaks on the phone, they were delivered direct from Powerflex. About £80 inc.
