Vauxhall Vectra C (2002 - 2008) - 2004 54 1.8LS Estate - Values?

2004 54 1.8LS Estate - Values? - Ian71
Hi,

I have used a couple of web sites (What Car and Parkers) to seek a trade in value for the car and this does not seem to match with what traders are offering. I have had one suggest that the car is worth between £2-2.5k, whereas the guides seem to indicate something aroung £3.5k. Does this seem a fair valuation? The car has done 44k and is in very good condition with full dealer history.

Any help would be appreciated!

In my experience dealers are always offeirng around 1k lower than the vaules both Parkers and What Car quote. Happened when I traded in about 6 weeks ago - the guides said 3.5k, I got 2.5k.

parkers and what car are both very optimistic imo.

Girl I know has just given up on swapping her 2006 Vectra because the best trade in she was offered was £4K (immaculate condition and reasonable miles).

I'd try the 'value my car' feature on trhe Vauxhall website, this uses Glass's figures and is probably more real world in terms of figures.

And if trading in at a Vauxhall dealer take a printout with you. Worked for me - dealer honoured the valuation.
