Need to know the book drop... - Blue {P}
Hi all,

Can anyone who has access to old Glasse's guides please tell me what the book drop is on the following car over the last 6 or so months?

BMW Z4 2.5 Auto 2003 03, 17K miles. Showroom condition.

I'm trying to persuade my dad to lease me his as it sits around doing nothing nearly all of the time and I figure that I could put it to good use but I would need to know roughly how much it was dropping by!

Oh and if you don't mind, how about a Mercedes CLK 270 CDI Avantgarde Auto 2005 55 reg with about 35K, again in showroom condition, leather and nav.

I can work out what it's at now but my dad reckons it's dropping up to £400 per month, I reckon that figures will have dropped a lot in recent months.

Found the current prices on the VX site to make it a little easier:-

Merc Exc cond - £12,350, Avg cond £11,100, Poor Cond £9,900
BMW Exc cond - £9,040, Avg cond £8,219, Poor Cond £7,340

That's great thanks HJ, shows depreciation of about £275 per month (if you round it up to 6 months, which I will). That's a little bit more than I expected on a car approaching 6 years old! It might make my case for a £200 per month lease a little hard to justify!
