02 2.0HDi Getting to the battery - redbourne
I know that the battery is under the passenger seat. I have pushed the seat forward and pressed down on the two grey tabs, which releases the back floor mounting of the seat. But the seat will only tilt forward 3 or 4 inches. Is there anything else I have to push or release in order to tip this seat forward so I can get the battery out?

I think you need to do it with the seat right back!
