I just bought a Peugeot 206 at the weekend, and drove it for the first time yesterday, and I've noticed that when I reverse, it stops and feels like its going up a steep hill. Also a couple of times when I was stopped at traffic lights the car was still revving and making lots of noise.
My boyfriend test drove it at the weekend and didnt notice any problems with it, and my dad drove it home for me on Sunday which was a half hour journey and he didn't notice any problems, so it could be me doing something wrong?
It's due for its MOT at the end of March, should I wait til then or get it checked out sooner?
Thanks

Did you buy this from a garage, or test drive it before you bought it. Regards Peter

Sounds like it could be the brake shoes binding/grabbing.
Ask the garage you bought it from to just check everything for you.
if you bought it privately (and have little comeback with the seller) then any garage should be able to investigate and sort it fairly easily/cheaply.
