Because I have to travel near there this evening I have been monitoring the highways agency site every hour
Each time i check it says "accident delays, normal traffic conditions expected by 12:30"
normal traffic conditions expected by 13:30"
normal traffic conditions expected by 14:30"
normal traffic conditions expected by 15:15"
absolutley useless information.

Its exactly this sort of thing that makes the discontinuing of the 'Trafficmaster YQ' unit so annoying, you could have been watching the delay live (with about 5 minute update delay time) from your desk/anywhere there's a wall socket.
With the added bonus that delays on the surrounding major roads would also be showing up.

Not saying TomTom traffic is brilliant but you can look at delays on their website too.
