I,m new to this forum and have a 96 xantia saloon.
When i leave the car after only a few secs the suspension drops quite quickly but does return to ride height ok when restarted.
My main concern is when car is left overnight the sec i start in the morning the suspension completely drops to min then starts to rise .
Is this normal ?

There is not really any such thing as 'normal' with hydropnumatic suspension. there are many parts that wear with age which alters the 'pump up/drop down time'. As long as it comes up reasonably quickly when you start it and ride at the correct height, I wouldn,t worry about it.

There is a very similar question to yours in another post close to this one. I would have a read of that one as well. Your problem may well be with sticky/partially siezed height correctors as well.
