2003 1.6 bonnet wont open - maxspringer
2003 mini cooper s. engine bonnet wont open.
i can release catch inside car ok but after i release safety catch under bonnet only the nearside of bonnet opens. latch on drivers side stays firmly locked/jammed. has anyone else experienced this problem and if so i would greatly welcome any advice on how to solve/open my bonnet. thanks Max

problem easily resolved,just had to remove inside wing cover and reach in and spring cable. if anyone needs help i can send them details (dont pay high garage fees...)

hi i am strugling to open my dayughters bonnet , and the drivers side catch will not release can you please send me through any info you have to get around this by taking off the drivers wheel and wing cover
