I'm interested in buying a navara d22 as it ticks all the boxes for my needs, but I'm really put off by all the horror stories concerning the notorious conrod bearing failure. Is it possible to have the bearings upgraded prior to a fault occuring to effectively solve this problem, and if so are there any specialist garages who will carry out the work (or can this be done by any garage).
