A piece on p. 6 of today's Telegraph says lawyers are among the social categories most likely to be banned from driving for motoring offences. Others are doctors, vicars and, harrumph, police officers.
Do take it easy in all the ice and snow, what with the temptation to warm the cockles a bit from time to time, chaps, won't you?

Police officers are (strangely, in the light of your thread) one of the lowest risk drivers as far as the insurers are concerned.

Not strange at all woodster, just goes to show that getting banned does not mean you are a bad driver.
We should maybe change the system and throw the book at people who actually cause accidents, rather than the ones that may cause accidents.
