1999 1.6 lucas dim/dip relay location - spur
Hi
Im pretty sure that i have a faulty dim/dip relay 'cause my dipped headlights dont work but full beam and sidelights do (fuses and bulbs checked and okay). What I'd like to know is - where is this relay? I've looked around the general area of the fusebox but cant find it. cheers

Hi,
It may be in the same place as on my sons 1995 200, in the drivers footwell, behind the trim/carpet. Search Rover 200 to see information provided by Screwloose which was spot on when we had same problem.

I would think that a 400 of 99 build is not fitted with dim/dip relay.The lighting switch supplies the dip beam circuit through the cabin fuse box and outwards to the headlights.hth
