Off-road parking in the slipperiness. - FotheringtonThomas
Passed a car this morning, about 10 yards off the road, parked halfway up a tree. Plainly visible from both directions.

Its hazard lamps were on. *Why*?

Maybe he was warning the tree to get out of the way, and neglected to turn the lights off afterwards.

i woould like to think that maybe something has shorted that caused them to come on, but probably the driver would have thought it a good idea.

I put my hazards on, when the police pulled me over for a spot check when I got my 1st car when i was 18, when sat in the back of the police car (i had done nothing wrong it was just a spot check) the policeman asked why I had put my hazards on, I nervously replied "i thought it was the right thing to do officer"

Maybe one of those cars that when you slam on the brakes really hard the hazards come on automatically?

Maybe the driver was still in the car wondering how best to leaf it?
Or trying to get something out the trunk?

Or maybe I am barking up the wrong tree
