Lookng forward to shuffling up to the lino covered table & bench seat with my cracked mug of tea & kik-kat then.

Fabulous news! Thank you.

Will the spoon for the sugar be chained to the serving counter?
Hopefully it will use omne of these dispensers that you turn upside down to dispense a spoonfull, much more hygenic!
Brilliant news! Can't wait.
Will there be a full English in a crusty roll?
Hygiene? In a biker's caff? Whatever next?
Went into my local bike dealer-totally unlike a car dealer-once the salesman had shepherded all the scooter kids staring at Fireblades out of my way,he could not have been more helpful-I almost bought there and then-not a Fireblade, a mere Guzzi!

The Ace Cafe has those, not that I'm a biker, just meet once a month for an "all marques" event that regularly gets an excellent line up of supercars.

Now I've no idea where bicycle related issues are to be discussed!
Am I a biker if my bicycle has a little electric motor?
Must all bikers be hairy and cook excellent meals al fresco?
YOU are a cyclist!!!
With everything being 'rolled into one' would that be better for the Discussion/Technical? All I do is constantly flit between the two looking for new posts anyway.
How about calling it HJ's A and E dept.
Catchy and pertinent.
Like I said....there's always someone who wants to remind us all that bikes can hurt you. Just in case we hadnt already realised. We need a rule in bikers cafe....No more "hey everyone, bikes are dangerous" type posts. We know that already; please dont keep telling us.
Sounds good to me - so that's a rule then !
Agreed. That's the whole point of having a separate bikers forum, so like minds can talk to each other without flak. HJ

And the first person to witter on about organ donors - donates an organ!
I just hope the caff isn't the start of segregation - there is enough of "you can't come in here with that gear on".

Had enough of that in the 70's; thankfully most people nowadays are more open-minded, and waxed-cotton Belstaffs are no longer the wet-weather gear of choice!
Might I suggest though that we "do as we should be done by" and avoid anti-cage rants?
High moral ground and all that. ;-)

I ought to donate then. I have a Yamaha and a Kawai going spare.
They both have 13 pedals mind you.

Even I'll feel at home in there!

If you don't want your biker to feel lonely on her (or his) own, you might like to move that apostrophe.

Not a pedant biker surely :)

Outside!!! :-)
will 'fair weather' bikers be allowed in?
Will a paucity of wheels be an automatic exclusion ?
;-)
Yes of course !
The room will have the same rules as the other places - other than a crafty ciggie will be allowed when the other Mods have gone to bed !
Try to make it work - it'll be good for the motorcyclists and for the future of the site if we can generate the interest.

Looking forward to it. Can't wait for a lengthy entry from Humph about his monocycle :-)

I'm in. Looking forward to it. Just means more time at the computer desk while Mrs T fills her head with 'numbnuts' detective programmes downstairs. Are we going to be allowed to have a go at cyclists....somebody's got to ?

I don't have a bike but I like wearing leather, can I come to the cafe?
Just posted in Biker's Caff, but it says I have to put Make/Model, with no bikes in there, or category, which isn't appropriate either. Teething troubles I suspect.
