Honda Civic UK (2001 - 2005) - 2002 1.7 glow plugs

2002 1.7 glow plugs - civicctdi
I have been changing the glow plugs on my civic ctdi, and the last one will not go in far enough for the thread to screw in ??

any ideas on what this could be, or how it could be sorted ??
