the handbook dosnt help it could be anything from a losse wire to engine ready to explode

Turn the ignition on and off 3 times without start and ending with on and the fault codes should then be displayed on the dash. Give us that code or google it.

Cheers merlin, I tried it to no avail though I have probably misinterpreted what you suggested I do
I turned the ignition on without turning over the engine then off and repeated but no fault codes were displayed
