Please answer this short questionnaire:
www.survey.mmu.ac.uk/recycled-vehicle-parts/
It should take about 5mins and is part of a university study aimed at assessing views towards recycled vehicle parts.
Thank you!

I didn't understand what information Q1 was looking for. For a start I wasn't sure whether "recycled car parts" was intended to mean parts from a recycled car or car parts which had been recycled. Q1 appeared to be playing with words and then Q3 onwards played with words even further by referring to recycled vehicle parts. I got bored.

Please let me know what you think about recycled vehicle parts:

It's all too easy these days, isn't it?
Think of a theme, make up a few questions, ambiguous or otherwise, bang 'em on the net for somebody bored at work to waste five minutes answering them, then put the results through a computer analysis.
I think this guy (or his or her team) should be standing outside scrappies' gates in the rain, actually questioning people who use them - how else can the result be a genuine picture?
Rant over.

Mike,
I am currently based at one of these ''scrappies'' (they actually prefer to be called ELV Dismantlers) whilst I'm conducting this study.
The reason I have also posted my questionnaire on here is because I want the views of both ''people who use them'' [recycled parts] and people who don't.

The usual confusion of recycled with reused.
Recycled is like glass, paper, crushed cans etc. They are melted down and made into something else.
Reuse = used again for their original purpose.
All cars are made from recycled steel, because something like 50% or more of new steel products include scrap metal re-melted.

Except, when it comes to vehicle parts, the terminology used is different. Hence my comment above that I knew enough to know I couldn't answer the survey.

OK, point taken. Bet you aren't standing in the rain though.

And they'll always be scrappies to me...
Do you have to feed the dog?
|
Not even the customers have to stand in the rain!! :)
I'd love it if there was a dog. But it might get run over by a fork lift...
