The open door sensor has failed on the drivers door, I can't for the life of me find where it is or how it works. Annoying, cos it means the auto-locking doesn't work. Any ideas?

This is triggered by a mechanism inside the door handle. I improved mine by spraying the machanism with a little WD40 but it still plays up now and again.
