Thought I'd look at a reasonably new Vectra - say 10K milesand under 12 mths .
Main dealer had none in stock - yard full of Corsas / Astras and some older Vectras - hardly bargains at £6-7K and about 3 yr old.
To be fair they offered to get one in from Vx stock @ some farm field near nowhere.
Looks like another visit to Motorpoint.

A dealer round Southampton way was advertising 08 plate Vectra 1.8 SRi ( IIRC) on the radio for 7K with 1K minimum p/x ! Even as a bangernomics disciple I'm tempted at that price.

It doesn't surprise me that there's very few Vectras in main dealer stock.
Few dealers want to be carrying "big" cars at the minute and the Vectra is probably losing value quicker than anything else this side of £30k.
Any Vectra on a forecourt is either going to look very expensive quite quickly, or have to be reduced in price practically weekly!
I've seen 06 reg facelift SRIs with Sat Nav, the useful 1.9 CDTI 150 engine and low miles for about £5.5k. That's just mind boggling when you consider the list price of these when new, they must be losing about £500 a month in depreciation over the last year. Can't blame it on VED or fuel price rises as neither is a big issue with these cars. Must be the tanking economy and arrival of the Insignia.
Funny how the old Mondeo III hasn't sunk in price as badly since the Mondeo IV came out though.

Seen 08 reg 1.8 VVT SRis at £5995 on AutoTrader.

FB, Peter Vardy in Motherwell were recently advertising 08 plate Vectra SRis for sub £8k, maybe round about the 7.5k mark if you were interested?
Think Arnold had similar stocks as well.
PV were also advertising the brand new 4x4s, can't remember their names, for something like £13k!

Is that the 'Antara' SUV thing? I think I've seen two in the year or more since they were released. In comparison the Peugeot 1007 and Volvo C30 seem popular.
