Took the child seat out of the back of my car about a month ago. There were some 'dents' in the seat that haven't come out. I thought they might disappear in time, but there is no sign of the seat returning to 'normal'.
Any tips? I'm pretty obsessive about looking after my car and they're driving me mad. ('Er indoors can't understand what I'm moaning about...they just don't understand the male mind!)

Warmth and moisture mlc. That's the key. If you have some leather feed or a suitable coloured polish will do, get busy with building up some heat around the affected area by polishing with a soft cloth ( yellow duster is best ). Do not "dry" polish as this will rip the surface off. Alternatively dampen the area very carefully ( as in not very much ) and get a hairdryer on it. Either way the leather will come back to its intended shape.

Either way, the leather will come back to its intended shape.
If it does; you'll probably have to call it Daisy.

Get 'er to sit in it-you won't see it and the body-warmth will get it back into shape.

Cheers so far. I'll give the cloths to her and remind her of a womans role!

If you put the seat back in put a towel under the safety seat - spreads the load.

Had a blanket underneath it while it's been in. It's just pressed through in a couple of places.

Not sure if its possible to remove the covers to get to the foam as not sure what car you own, but I spent a week working at Land Rover on work experience in the upholstery section. They would use the steam from a kettle to bring foam headrests back into shape after trying out different covers.
