What is the new Vat rate margin for dealers? - massey
As the Vat rate has been reduced from 17.5% to 15%

What is the new Vat rate payable by dealers on their profit margin on used vehicles, ie. the Margin rate?

If you are asking what % of the VAT inc figure is VAT, at 15% VAT it will be 3/23 or 13.043%, rather than at 17.5% 7/47 or 14.894%.
