hi can anyone tell me where the alarm horn is on a 2004 land rover ,ive to change mine as its not working ,thanks

thats the main horn ,landrover wont tell me where it is .they say its for security reasons ,and that theyed supply and fit a new one for me ,typical dealers 8< snip !

Just had a flick through Microcat and there are two options on a Defender. One is a conventional square-box plastic alarm siren with integral battery[£77]; the other is an ordinary round horn and is described as "Horn/sounder unit [alarm without battery back-up. £17.64]

As there is nowhere on a Defender to hide anything; [except maybe the front inner wing closer panel] if you haven't seen the siren unit; then it uses the main horn as it's sounder.
