selling my motor - BRADS
I was just wandering if anyone had a way of parting with their motor easily. I've tried advertising on the auto trader website/local papers and cardata who say they will sell your car within a week but now its been nearly three and I've only had one time waster, I've been trying to sell for three months and still no joy. The added problem I've got it's a bit of a boy racers car so only a certain sort of person would be interested. I've thought about garages and auctions but I know I wouldn't get the money for it at these places, so any suggestions would be gratefully recieved

Having a similar problem with my owned from new, 1998 MR2. Although it has 71k miles, its been serviced by Toyota so has FTSH, the previous mot and is in vgc.

From various price guides I've looked at, I should be able to get 8k for it and was only wanting 7.5k

Tried the local paper and only got the likes of cardata etc showing interest! Im in the fortunate position of not having to sell quickly so may hold on and place another add in a month or two's time. Trouble is, all the trade ins will be flooding the market from September, then its the run up to Christmas and next reg change in March!

Seems there's NOT a good time to sell a car anymore unless you give them away.
