Hi all iv taken the clocks out of my astra to replace bulbs and now the speedo isnt workin its clickin in to place but as im drivin its just clickin from behind my clocks and there not workin,could anybody help me with this problem,many thanks glyn....only theres not alot of room behind them is there..............it is a 1.7 td 1995.....

The square speedo drive end has not engaged fully into the speedo head.The best way to overcome this problem is to release the speedo cable from the gearbox end (unscrew the metal ferrule from output drive)and carefully ease the complete cable up thro the bulkhead and secure it to the speedo head first,then draw it back down to attach it onto gearbox.hth
