What do we think of this?

I bet OPEC will buy the patent and then not use it - just to keep themselves in business.

I think the advertising bods of a certain lubricant `manufacturer` will be wringing their hands.

Expect `solar wind engineered sub atomic fourth dimension magnetic triangles` - to appear on their oil adverts next week.

Captain Picard orders them regularly. Only with them installed can the suborbital discombobulator matrix infused with dilthium cyrstals attain enough energy to ramp up power in the warp power field force generator to enable subatomic space to be split, the time process reversed and the starship Enterprise to travel at Warp 9.

How does the bloke in the delivery van ever manage to find or keep up with him?
Liquid crystal lubrication - oilrag
As well as the solar wind --magnetic triangles lubing the big ends, they also open up a wormhole to the destination for the delivery van. The worms are fed up of taking it though. They want a bypass.

Obvious, it's a *white* delivery van. Next!

Only Mobil 1 in the Continental Explorer... ;)

So what's new? Ultra-low slide friction lubricants already exist; [MoS 2 etc.] - and they're absolutely the last thing that you want in a rolling bearing.

No mention of what temperature these LC lubricants perform best or what happens when the temperature is increased.

I'm sure that many cyclists and motorcyclists will have realised that there is a naturally occuring substance that has almost perfect lubricant properties, reducing friction to near zero:

fresh cow muck on an iron manhole cover!
