"have a 55 reg sxi and the camshaft has snapped on 31k miles." You are very unlucky as I don't recall any other post on here ever for a snapped Corsa camshaft and there must be a few million out there. Which one snapped? Presumably it was fixed under warranty?

Victorbox, as well as "unhappycorsaowner" we had someone else ("Lta") post on the same day with it happened to them as well.
Agree with you though that out of the millions sold, its a very small percentage that have probably failed. Maybe a faulty batch of camshafts affecting only a certain range of engine numbers?

it wasthe front one that snapped piston 4 missfireing thats how we found it no it wasnt done under warrenty cos it was out by 2 mnths im trying to refinance the car for 1000 pound to pay for it vaux wont pay sod all

I also have a 55 reg and mine snaped at 16 thousand and vauxhall have been no help am thinking about going to trading standards
