Including confirmation of the fact that more 3 series are sold than Mondeos and whatever happened to silver ?

Just had scroll through that and i noticed in the section on annual VED's that band F cars are showing at £215 from April 09, whereas Parkers are still saying £300.

I'm pretty sure ive read that right, if so who's correct.

The reg figures are interesting, but obviously don't take into account pre reg's subsequently stored for some time and then sold later as used vehicles, and i have seen thousands.

That was an interesting read - thanks! The page that made me think the most, was the one showing how much tax is paid by motorists. Everyone is up in arms about VED rises, but compared to VAT and fuel duty, it's nothing really.

- Nice 3 series there.......... you'll fit it round here all right. Some sort of rep or something are you ?

- Oh sorry, it's a 5 series is it, gosh they get harder to tell apart don't they ? Sales Manager you say ? Photocopiers ? Right. Very good.......

- Yes, Rob on the other side has the A4. Something in mobile phones I think. Nice enough guy.

- Mine? Oh yes it's a Mondeo actually. Well, you only live once eh ??
