00 1.8 Oil capacity for Escort Van - anything with an engine
Hi,

I've recently bought an Escort 55 van as a cheap runabout. It's a 2000 model on a W plate, it is a 1.8 diesel (the non-turbo version). I want to give it a quick service but am struggling to find out the oil capacity. I could add a bit at a time I guess and keep checking the dipstick but if anyone knows how much it should take when oil and filter are changed it'd be much appreciated.

5.0 ltrs of 5W-40 should do nicely.
