Mazda 6 Diesel - imb
I'm interested in buying a new 6 2.0 diesel. However, it has been announced that a new 2.2 motor will be lauched early next year with the engine starting at 125bhp upwards. Should I wait and buy 1 in 2009 or buy now?

I would wait. There have been a lot of diesel engine problems reported on this site for the previous Mazda 6 model. As far as I can tell when the new Mazda 6 model came out there were no significant changes to the diesel engines. Therefore there's still likely to be problems. Hopefully the issues will have been rectified with the new engine.

There's also going to be a 180PS version which does more MPG and has lower emissions than the 2.0. Or so I believe.
