Have a problem starting to occur on the 2.0hdi RHYE the car starts fine and seems to run ok in low gears (can be a little sluggish in high gears)up to approx 2000-2500rpm above this when accelerating I get black smoke from the exhaust, not huge amounts but enough to be noticed by following cars this also happens sometimes on the overrun. When cruising above 2000rpm no smoke is noticed. No warning lights have come on (engine light comes on and goes off when started). The emissions test averaged 2.9 this year. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
