London - car? - y2k+4
Hey folks,

I recently started a thread where I was going to change car, but I've now received a job offer to move to London and am definately getting rid of my current car. The question I wondered was whether anyone here had used the streetcar concept or anything similar to rent a car? IT seems like a obv thing for when i do wanna take a trip somewhere!

Depending on where you are going to live, why not keep your jalopy? Parking isn't too steep in the outer reaches, or many of them, and even central London is sort of affordable if a bit bureaucratic.

You may not use it every day, but it can come in useful for evenings and weekends.

Not that I want there to be more traffic in London you understand. It looks a bit lighter than usual at the moment.
