........but, if they did?
They would be very weak and taste like carpet.
fairly weak and insipid, European connotations, poor man's alternative to the real stuff
how about a Daf 55?

Maserati Quadraporte for the price of a base Focus.
I'm with the view that Carlsberg makes naff tasking lager therefore a naff car.
What is a Quadroporte? Is it like a Maserati Quattroporte, i.e. four door :-)
OK OK, I was watching telly as well !
I'm watching TV, downloading software for work and trying to diagnose a Microsoft Cluster problem at the customer site ;-)
Still an insipid beer but clever adverts. But if it's the advert theme the OP referred to then I'm with PU on this. A supercar and small car prices. We wish.

I thought old Carlsberg cans were used to make the Lancia Beta.......
Or old lancia beta used to make Carlsberg cans,in Germany I think to call a drink "beer" it must be 4.9% and to call one "pilsner"4.8% you seem to get short change in the UK mind being teatotal now it doesn't really bother me.
If they were made of Carlsburg tins at least they'd be rustproof.
So if Pilsner, invented in Plsen (been there got the photos and it looked like a world war 2 fil set in 1990!), has to be 4.8% how come Pilsnet Urquel in my fridge says 4.4%. Although the proper, i.e. Czech, Budweiser is 5%.
One the beer of kings the other insipid American version a king of beers. Don't make me laugh ;-)
Think the strength varies, rtj, from my visit to the brewery in Plsen a few years ago there were quite a few variations... and then there's all the different varieties of Czech beer... which I will be sampling next week....
Carlsberg? Car? Mmmm, Allegro of course... but they'd think it was a Rolls!
"Free petrol for life for everyone and all speed limits abolished."
Carlsberg don't write newspaper headlines, but if they did....
You'd never get through to the complaints department (old Carlsberg ad).

You'd never get through to the complaints department
Didn't Mitsubishi have a similar tagline once ?
Carlsberg don't make cars
But if they did, their car adverts would be fantastic.
Their adverts get people thinking and talking about the brand. Good advert!
