Hi, I have an Audi 80 H reg. Recently, I was having stating problems and eventually it wouldn't start at all - the fuel pump had given up. I replaced this with an aftermarket pump, but now still have stating problems both hot or cold. It takes about three long cranks of the ignition switch to start. Once started it runs fine.
When I switch the ignition on I can hear the pump run for a few seconds to 'prime' the system..
Any ideas welcome
