Nah! It was a 'BP' delivery!

Good grief, you lot are fully of empathy today aren't you?! Do the six that died not deserve anything better than cheap quips? Or does it not count when it's all far away and less real as a result?
|
Good point. We should all bee a bit more compassionate.

calm down Gordon or you'll have a corronary!
It was a pun regarding the bees that was all. I mentioned nothing humerous about the people that sadly died. Don't be so self-righteous!
|
Self righteous? Sorry to have come across that way, just find it a little disturbing to have jokes made about it, and perhaps surprising as I'm pretty sure there wouldn't be lots of jokes if it had happened in the UK... Not yet anyway.
If I've come across as self righteous I apologise; you lot come across as borderline racist. I'd like to think both are completely wrong.
Funny how text based communications can cause misunderstandings isn't it?

fair enough Gordon, but the thing is, people make gags all the time about stuff happening round the world. Do you ever watch Have I got New For You or Mock the Week and then write a snotty letter to the BBC because of some gag made about Gary Glitter or 9/11 or other horrible event?
Life goes on and sometimes humour helps.

too true. The emergency services and military do it all the time...doesn't mean they don't care

Skorpio et al, this morning I feel I was perhaps a little, how shall I put it, grouchy? Dealing with unpleasant subject matter at work sometimes spills over, I shall endeavour to get a life as soon as possible (probably as soon as the 2 gallons of plum wine downstairs has finished fermenting).

Oh, come on you lot, bee hive yourselves.
