2000 1.8 Workshop Manual - Kildrummy
I believe that there is no Haynes manual available for the Mk2 MX5.

Can anybody suggest an alternative manual that would cover all the basic DIY maintenance/repairs on the Mk2.

Your advice would be very welcome

Have a look at the 'Enthusiasts Workshop Manual' Mk1, 1.8 selling at £25 from MX5PARTS.CO.UK I Know you have the Mk2 but it seems most of the basic mechanicals are similar. I use one to find my way around my Mk2, and I also think it has more repair information than the latest Haynes books.

Sumpnut is correct. All the usual service items covered, plus brake pads, timing belt etc. From what I have seen the areas where it may differ are wiring diagrams and updated electronic systems fitted.
