Does anybody out there know if you can fit a set of golf clubs into an MR2 (2001)?

Yes;they will fit perfectly into the passenger seat and can be held in place with the seat-belt.

I've done that with a Caterham, the passenger wasn't too happy being strapped to the rollcage though :)

It's a key factor that has persuaded many to go for the more practical MX5 instead.
