Renault Scenic (1999 - 2003) - 01 1.9 worn differential?

01 1.9 worn differential? - Tonyman47
Diesel engine, 70K miles. Some minor "clunks" on selecting gears. Told by garage that differential is worn. Can anything be done without expensive gearbox work? Is it something to live with by nursing the engine.
