00 2.0Cabriolet electrical woes, Help - t955daytona
Hi all, First post so go easy.
I have a Peugeot 306 cabriolet which seems to have some sort of electrical gremlin. The speedo and rev counter have started to flicker (Needles jitter a couple of mm and you can hear the servos cycling) when the ignition is first switched on and they do the same when you turn off. Its only for a few seconds but they then take a few more to register and revs or speed. Once working they seem to be OK. Related I think is the Clock and temp display are cycling through horizontal and vertical lines. I have noticed also that the relays for the electric windows (first two green ones top row from left, plus first from left on second row) are getting very warm, Is this usual(windows work fine)? Also linked I am not sure that the cooling fans are operating. I have checked all fuses, could it be an earthing problem (although windows etc work fine) any ideas gratefully received.
