Wheres that? its 118.9 near me

I always use my miles card when filling up at Morrisons. Not sure how many points are on there at the moment, but it seems a very long time since I last got a voucher. Does anyone know if they have upped the amount of points you need? I would guess because fuel is so expensive, you would otherwise be getting a voucher virtually every other fill up!!!

119.9 at Morrisons in Malvern

My daughter just came home and commented about this - she thought the main sign outside said 118.9 but at the pump was another sign with 113.9 and the pump displayed that price too.
This was Morrisons in Chester.

Just had my 6th voucher - when I reached 5000 points, so no change as I'm aware.
I now have "£30" towards a satnav - I'm determined to get one for free.....
I believe they award points per litre - not per pound spent, so no alteration expected.

Happy days are here again. Back to cheap motoring !
|
|
It's 3-5p a litre. So for a full tank on my car a couple of quid. Last week I filled my car with 54 litres and it cost £70+. Still not happy and it's still not cheap. And it's probably temporary.

I was waiting behind a Range Rover on my last fuel station visit - I can confirm the pumps now permit fills of over £100!
I'm sure the owner can't wait to spend the £3 or so he now saves every visit.

The lucky owner of the RR will have change after buying a pint of Copper Dragon and a packet of Seabrooks crisps.

>>.... - I can confirm the pumps now permit fills of over £100!
At my local Tesco's the upper limit used to be £60, then with rising fuel prices, they upped it to £80 - where it has remained.
I usually fill the Landcruiser when the low fuel light came on and I could never fill it to the brim even with £80! However the Mondeo's 55l tank is no problem.

Yipee - diesel is down to £1.31 a litre at Asda (but the shell garage 2 miles away sells it at £1.29)
|
|
Both petrol and diesel dropped around 10 cents per litre in Germany on Sunday having been a drop in diesel prices previously its now around 143 for diesel and 145 for normal and super still very expensive in both Holland and Belgium, the truck drivers are suffering like everywhere else especially as they have to pay for using the autobahns but at least traffic moves unlike the the third world UK.
|
An Esso garage a few miles from my house is now selling 95RON at 116.9 and diesel at 130.9. The supermarkets are still around the 120.9 mark for Unleaded, although there are no Asdas or Morrisons with filling stations within anything like a convenient distance.
In our area, Shell and Esso stations regularly beat the local supermarket prices by 1-2p a litre.
Cheers

Incidentally, have you noticed that diesel went up quicker than Unleaded, and at this early stage is coming down slower. 14p per litre discrepancy and counting.
I calculate the fuel cost per mile advantage of a typical 45 mpg 2.0 diesel against a typical 35 mpg 2.0 petrol is now less than 2p! And falling if the price trends continue.

At my local Shell the Pay at the Pump allows £90 - Plenty for my 60 litre tank, for now!
|
If Tesco do drop the price by about 4p a litre, then when I next fill up I will have saved about 9p/litre as I now have two 5p off vouchers too ;-)
But I'll never get a full tankfull because the warning light comes on and the cars says less than 10 miles left... and then you can only put in 54 litres but the tank is 64 litres.
