01 1.0 Replacement block - xm07
I have changed blocks on a CG10DE engine with multi coil packs, the doner block came from a distibutor type, obviously I have used original head and Injection system.
The only way I could get it to start was to advance the cam timing one link from the standard settings.
I stoped it after 5 secs now again will not start and sounds like timing fault but this has not moved, anybody come accross this problem.
The specs for the engines are the same bore and stroke but 1kw more at 4000rpm
