I am planning to by the ex Motability Hundai (2005, 05 Reg, Milage 18000) for £4000. Could you please let me know, whether this car is worth that money or not.

Its not worth £4,000.
not even £3,000.
but it will be fairly economical for a petrol auto and ultra relaible (easily see 150,000 miles).
if its in mint condition, and you know its full history then dont worry to much about paying alittle over the odds.
the hyundai matrix is a better vehicle, with better access and driving position.
Plus, its going to be easier to sell on a matrix rather than an accent.
i know because a close firend has just purchased a 15,000 1.6 auto gsi matrix ex-motability and is over the moon with it.
he paid over book price (£4,200) but as the car is literally like new and such low mileage (plus 2 years warranty left) he is very happy.
