The two code have the same meaning with the PSA system-specific one being slightly more detailed.

P1113 on an EDC16C3 is: Diesel high-pressure regulation circuit; rail pressure below the minimum limit.

Does this only happen on the first start of the day?

yes only on the first start of the day.by the way the peugeot dealer in town will not read these codes they say they have to re-code them at £76 thanks keith

Dealers often start their diagnoses by downloading the latest version of the software - more in hope...

I'd wonder about air leaking into the system overnight letting the fuel drain back.

youg girl at work had exactly same problem at work with the same fault codes & we reckoned a diesel injector was leaking back. Filled the tank & stuck 2 bottles of Comma diesel injector majic from halfords in it & after she used the tank up problems gone away & light doesn't come on. Worth ago 1st & no doubt some one will come along & say you can't fix with snake oil! But I can assure you our office girl was well chuffed & she's skint! Hers was a 2003 1.4hdi.

Doc

That makes perfect sense; sticking regulators are quite common - particularly for those who use supermarket fuel; so a bit of lubricity from the additive could well help.
