I recall one of HJ's Telegraph colleagues - the golfing correspondent - won a Lambo a few years back in a hole-in-one competition at the ProAm before the Open.

Apparently he had to think long and hard about whether to accept the prize, which would have meant giving up his amateur status... in his own words 'About two seconds'!

Maybe HJ can shed some light on this?
