According to the news new car sales were down 6% last month but the trade predicts only 3% over the year. Smart car sales have gone up by leaps and bounds while Jeep have been in serious decline.

Yes im afraid it doent look good round where I live. One branch of a large chain and 2 mid size independants have had all their cars myseriously shift off the forecourts in the last week. The dealers which I walk past to walk have had the same cars for sale to what seems like months and one car has been there at least a year yest price never changes. Sometimes they shift front and back rows round to make the it look different but it is indeed bad news

He decided to buy a MB C class instead. He saw a MB dealer's advert in a paper and rang to enquire. They did not ring back either. They spend a fortune on advertising and the twerps in the showroom are so useless and lazy that they can't be bothered to pick up a phone.

He is now taxing his old car and putting new tyres on.

It's not only cars, I asked for a quote from a local firm for some new windows for my house. It would cost quite a lot because the house is grade 2 listed. After 11 days I have heard nothing.

I think these firms must be making a fortune. Recession, what recession. It's all paper talk!
