Just acquired a 106 - when I move away in 1st I hear a clonking type noise that repeats a couple of times a second or so as i accelerate. It is still there in second and third but seems to die out in the higher gears.
I wondered about drive shafts but this is in a straight line not when turning?
Any ideas where the problem could lie?
