Have recently noticed that the mileometer has stopped working, (stuck on same figure) and the trip counter does not show at all any ideas

If the speedo is still reading; then that could be an internal dashpod fault. It is possible for a well-equipped garage to scan the pod for faults.

There are reconditioners around that can repair yours.

yep the speedo is still working, so i'll get the dash checked thanks screwloose

After a fuse check and scanning for faults; try:-

Done a quick check does not seem to be a fuse for the dasboard trip

That's quite likely; but, with a Renault, it's always best to check....
