Hi, does anyone know whether insurance checks are made if you name someone else as driving the vehicle at the time of offence? Any info would be much appreciated, thanks!

They do round here. One of two have been done for the much more serious offence of "Attempting to Pervert The Course of Justice" that can get you thrown in clink.

Same here in Northants. Paperwork makes quite clear that claims of a foreigner driving will trigger painstaking inquiries, including insurance.

It would appear that many in the scamera partnerships take it personally, and would go to the ends of the earth in catching people out in lies.
